What does God want to do this year?
Wow--just a few more days before the 40 Days of Prayer starts for 2012. Every year this is in an incredible time, and last year was very special. It was so "God-driven" for Him to impress the book of Nehemiah on me months before while I was on study break. There was almost no question in my mind that Nehemiah should be our focus--I knew he was a leader for God, but as I studied the book I realized that PRAYER was a major driving influence in Nehemiah's life and leadership. To see Harvesters buy into it, and then to see the actions that came out of the 40 days: the tutoring ministry, ESL, international students, bankers Monday MVP meetings--all of these (and possibly others) were impressed on people's hearts as they asked God to show them where the "walls were broken down in their worlds."
What does God want to do this year? I don't know but I'm excited to see . . .
